Downer Avenue will be closed on Friday, 2/7/14, EAST of the Firehouse in preparation for paving.  There will be no access from Route 35.

On Saturday, 2/8/14, Downer Avenue will be closed WEST of the Firehouse in preparation for paving.

WATER ALERT – 12/13/13

As part of the NJDOT Route 35 project, the contractor will be working on the water main near the intersection of Mathis Place and Route 35, in Bay Head/Mantoloking. Customers on Route 35, between Bergen Ave and Goetze Street will be temporarily out of water. Customers in the area have been notified by our inspector. Work will take place Friday December 13, 2013 from 8:00am until approx 3:00pm. Customers in the area may experience low pressure, no water, discolored and or cloudy water during hours work is taking place. Customers should run cold water faucets until the water runs clear. Because of this work, hydrants HMA-49 (Mathis Place & Rt 35), HMA-29 (Bergen & Rt 35) and HBH-41 (between Mathis & Strickland on Rt 35) will be out of service during the shutdown.

Traffic Advisory – 12/12/13

The intersection of Barnegat Lane and Lyman Street will be closed until further notice. Access to Barnegat Lane will be from Bergen Ave. from the North, and Herbert from the South. Downer Ave. is closed at Rt. 35 and there is one-way traffic direction from Downer Ave. to Brick border along Rt. 35.
