Mantoloking Recycling Rejected by Ocean County

The Ocean County Department of Waste Management recently rejected a load of recycling from Mantoloking, due to the fact that it contained non-recyclable items such as plastic bags, styrofoam, and more.  Please read the attached notice for more details.

Beach Replenishment Update

The beach replenishment continues and, depending on the weather and machinery holding up, hope to finish the project by Christmas. We will probably lose 3 days early next week.  The photos below were taken today at 1001 East Avenue. Also, we were hoping to schedule a tour of the new Boro Hall for this weekend but, while we are very close to doing that, we decided to err on the side of safety ( one handrail not ready) and postpone it for a few weeks.
