Water Alert: Wednesday, February 26th – Downer and Princeton Avenue Areas

A water alert has been entered for the following work scheduled to take place on Wednesday 2/26/2014:

As part of the NJDOT Route 35 project, the contractor will tie-in new water main on Route 35 to the existing 8″ main at Princeton Ave & Route 35 in Mantoloking. The surrounding customers will be affected, and customers on Route 35/Ocean Ave (between Downer Ave & Princeton Ave) will temporarily be without water from 8:00 AM until 2:00 PM.  Customers in the area were notified by our inspector. Work will begin Wednesday 2/26/2014 at 8:00 AM and continue until approx 2:00 PM. Customers in the area may experience low pressure, no water, discolored and or cloudy water during hours work is taking place. Customers should run cold water faucets until the water runs clear. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Notice: The March 6th Planning Board Meeting Has Been Rescheduled

The Planning Board of the Borough of Mantoloking meeting scheduled for Thursday, March 6, 2014 at 6:30p.m. has been rescheduled for March 13, 2014 at 6:30 p.m. at the Mantoloking Yacht Club.  The formal notice can be viewed here.

Flood Mitigation Plan Update – 2013

The NFIP Flood Hazard Mitigation Planning Committee of Mantoloking Borough has completed their annual report of the objectives and goals for 2013/2014 of the Borough’s Flood Mitigation Plan. Members of the public are welcome to view the report as it is available here on the Borough’s website as well as available for viewing at the Borough Hall.

Route 35 Traffic Advisory & Paving Notice

Please be advised that Route 35 southbound is scheduled to be paved beginning Thursday, February 20th through Sunday, February 23rd, WEATHER PERMITTING.

Attached is the official notice explaining the driveway access restrictions within these paving limits.
