Shredding Program

Household Hazardous Waste Collection

Beach Access Update – 8/27/14

As of today, all the Boroughs beach accesses are open except Lyman Street.

Revetment and Route 35 Construction Update – 8/27/14

Sheet Pile – Work has been slowed due to mechanical issues with the machine working towards Lyman. The contractor advises the repair should be made by Friday. EIC hopes to be tying in the sheet pile and rocks at Lyman by 3rd week in September. The Downer machine continues to drive sheet piles and is moving approx. 150 feet per day.

Route 35 – Work restarts on Sept. 3rd. Alternating traffic patterns will be in effect from Lyman Street going South to Herbert. Agate will be working 24 hour shifts for approx. 2 weeks from Lyman South. Agate has advised that only two days will they be hammering up the roadway and will not go past 11pm with hammering. Work zones from Downer South to Brick will be two way traffic on the West side of road.

Mold Awareness Class For Homeowners – September 6, 2014
