Pinelands Commission “Pipeline” Meeting Rescheduled for September 14th

The message below is from the Pinelands Preservation Alliance.  The decisions of the Pinelands Commissions affect the bay that we live on, around, and play in and on!  Full details can be found here.

Greetings!

The Pinelands Commission announced that they have cancelled the September 8th meeting scheduled for the Pine Belt Arena in Toms River in an article in the Burlington County Times on September 6th.

The meeting was re-scheduled for September 14th in response to a letter submitted by our lawyer

 September 1, 2017.
We pointed out that scheduling the vote for September 8th was a violation of the Pinelands Commission’s own rules and resolution PC4-17-10 which affords interested parties the right to request an evidentiary hearing within 15 days of the release of the Executive Director’s report.  September 8th was only 10 days after the report was issued.
Date: Thursday, September 14, 9:30 a.m.
Location: **War Memorial Theater
Address: 1 Memorial Dr., Trenton, NJ 08608

*They stated in the newspaper article and in their letter to PPA that the meeting will be held at the War Memorial Theater in Trenton but have yet to confirm that on their website.

Two Topics on the Agenda for September 14th:
As you know from our earlier email this is the Commission’s regularly scheduled monthly meeting.  On the agenda is the vote on the New Jersey Natural Gas pipeline and a vote on a resolution to better protect Wharton State Forest.
