Mantoloking & Hurricane Sandy
Update 14: November 9, 2012: 5:00pm
It was a good try by everyone today… but, we need to revamp our entry procedures for tomorrow and the foreseeable future. A lot of resident’s cars were blocking key construction vehicle access points and slowing down work in critical areas. We cannot afford for construction to be slowed.
Due to this issue, we are basically going to be letting residents into town by shifts. The hours remain the same: 9-3.
– Curtis Point to Princeton: Please report to Brick Moose and you will be shuttled in. (Please park on the Eastbound side of 528)
– Stevens to Bay Head Border– Please park at the Order of the Sacred Heart Church in Bay Head and walk to your homes via Barnegat or East. A shuttle will be available to take residents that are unable to walk.
– Princeton to Herbert: Please report to Brick Moose and you will be shuttled in (Please park on the Eastbound side of 528). The shuttle will drop off/ pick up at MYC.
– For residents between Bergen and Herbert– Please park at the Order of the Sacred Heart Church in Bay Head (Back Parking Lot) and shuttles will take you into areas near your homes.
As stated in earlier updates, Bergen Avenue will be closed for the weekend and access to Channel and Lagoon Lanes will not be available until Monday at the earliest.
ACCESS TO AREA IS LIMITED TO THE DAY INDICATED ABOVE.
Please note, that we are doing our best with access/shuttles so please be patient.
As with everything in the past two weeks– THE SITUATION REMAINS FLUID SO PLEASE REFER TO THE WEBSITE/FACEBOOK REGULARLY.
