Construction Inspection Requirements


Rental of Property or Transfer of Ownership (smoke detector inspections)

Application for Smoke and Carbon Monoxide Detector and Fire Extinguisher inspection must be completed and submitted at least two weeks prior to inspection date. The Fire Official will inspect for proper installation of Smoke and Carbon Monoxide Detectors and Fire Extinguishers for rentals and homeowner transfers

Tent Applications

Tent Applications must be submitted at least two weeks prior to the inspection date and approved by the Fire Official for;

1)
Multiple tents

2) or tents over 900 sq. ft. or over 30 lineal feet in any direction

A tent permit must be approved by the Land Use Official prior to submission to the Fire Official.
