2024 Beach Employment

AS OF 4/17/24 - ALL BEACH POSITIONS HAVE BEEN FILLED FOR THE 2024 SEASON.

The Borough of Mantoloking is currently looking for seasonal employees to staff our summer beach season.  We are currently accepting applications for beach badge checkers and sellers. Responsibilities include the checking of badges and safety of all our guests. Must be on time, presentable, responsible, friendly and have a means of transportation. Must be available to work most weekends. Hours of operation are 10-6 daily running from June 15 - Labor Day. Full and part time positions available, starting rate is $15 per hour (for 2024 season).  We will be accepting applications through April 1, 2024.  

The candidates must:

Beach Checkers:

• Possess a valid Driver’s License
• Be 17 years of age by date of employment and secure their working papers (if needed) prior to employment
• Be available to work 10-5 and work most weekends and holidays

Beach Sellers:

• Possess a valid Driver’s License
• Be 17 years of age by date of employment and secure working papers (if needed) prior to employment
• Be available to work a 10-6 schedule and work most weekends
• Must have some knowledge of electronic software
