F. Bradford Batcha, Esq. is a Partner at Batcha & Batcha, LLC in Shrewsbury and has been involved in the real estate law practice since 1984 when he became a title searcher.  He later served as a mortgage loan officer, a real estate agent and since 1994 has practiced as a full-time attorney-at-law.  Brad is a leading expert in many areas of real estate law such as flood zones and handles both residential and commercial real estate transactions for individuals and corporate clients.  He is an active member of the Monmouth County Bar Association, having served as a Trustee for many years, and currently serves as Vice-President for the Association as well as the Chair of the Real Estate and Land Development Committee.  Brad has been a long time member of the Board of Consultors for the Real Property Trust and Estate Section of the New Jersey State Bar Association (NJSBA) and is also a Past Chair of that section.  In 2017 Brad argued the Conley v. Guerro case before the New Jersey Supreme Court on behalf of the NJSBA which changed the language in the attorney review clause that appears in all NJ Residential Realtor prepared contracts.  Brad has organized and lectured at over 100 seminars on Real Estate law for the Monmouth County Bar Association, the New Jersey State Bar Association, NJ Realtors and the New Jersey Institute for Continuing Legal Education.  Brad received his B.S. in Finance from Lehigh University in 1991 and his J.D. from Villanova University School of Law in 1994 where he was elected to the Villanova Law Review and later served as an Associate Editor of Law Review Articles.  Brad was elected to the Mantoloking Borough Council in 2019 and has served as the Chair of the Environmental Committee and as a member of the Beach & Dune Committee and Flood Strategy Committee.  Brad is the current Chair of the Recreation Committee and serves on the Land Use and Legal and Administrative Committee.  Brad is also Community Rating System (CRS) Coordinator for the Borough’s participation in National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) which achieves discounts on Flood Insurance for Borough residents.
