Councilman John Conti

John Conti was most recently a partner at SeaBridge Investment Advisors, based in Summit, NJ. While at SeaBridge, John managed equity portfolios for both individuals and institutions, as well as a mutual fund based in Paris. Prior to SeaBridge, John was a Managing Director and Head of Global Equity Research at J.P. Morgan. His responsibilities included the management and development of 600 securities analysts located in North America, Europe, Africa, Australia, and Asia. Prior to his global role at Morgan, John served as the Head of U.S. Equity Research, the Head of Latin American Equity Research, and the Director of Marketing for Morgan’s Equity Division.

John earned a Master of Science degree from Stevens Institute of Technology, and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Franklin & Marshall College. While at F&M, John earned All America recognition in lacrosse. After college, he was a coach in the Montclair Junior Lacrosse Program, and the Montclair Hockey Club.

After raising their three children in Montclair, John and his wife, Elaine, moved to Mantoloking in 2015.
