Frank Donaldson is a retired Business Leader and is a New Jersey Registered Professional Engineer. Frank is a college graduate with a Bachelors of Engineering Degree from Stevens Institute of Technology. Stevens is a Private New Jersey University specializing in Engineering, Sciences and Technology.

Frank excelled in various roles early in his career working for a large national consumer products corporation and quickly advanced into leadership positions.  Promptly transitioning to entrepreneurship, Frank co-founded with his wife Joan an engineering company, based in Branchburg, NJ, that provided custom design and manufacturing of specialized machinery for the consumer products industry. After twenty-five successful years, the business was sold and Frank led an engineering division at a national firm until his retirement.

Frank and Joan resided in Bridgewater, NJ for over 20 years, where they raised their two daughters and were active contributors to their community.  Frank served Bridgewater and its residents in a volunteer capacity by leading a redevelopment committee for the town to redevelop of a large blighted area into an asset. The extensive two-year effort resulted in the successful development of the Bridgewater Commons Mall. After that effort Frank served as a Township Councilman including doing a term as Council President. While on the Council Frank served a term on the Planning Board and other sub committees.

Joan and Frank moved from Bridgewater to Tewksbury Township, NJ where they built their dream home and enjoyed bringing together their children, grandchildren, and relatives for celebrations, holidays, and summer pastimes.

Six Years ago, they decided it was time to retire. They built their new home on Mantoloking property they had purchased about 18 years earlier. Five years ago, they made the transition to full-time residency in Mantoloking. They along with their Sheep-a -doodle (Cody) have embraced coastal living and engaged in activities like biking, fishing, kayaking, and beach walks while fostering new friendships with fellow residents.

Frank is enthusiastic about carrying out his responsibilities as a member of the Council and is committed to safeguarding the town’s cherished lifestyle and nurturing the robust sense of community upon which it is founded.
